About Project Kitty Connect
501(c)(3) Corporation
PKC
began as a way of changing the way stray and feral (wild) cats have traditionally
been viewed and dealt with in our communities. We live in a culture where,
for some, the value of an animal’s life has no meaning of its own – merely based on his or her use to people. Many people consider stray/feral cats as pests and as a result think it is acceptable to harm them. Some feel feral cats lead short, miserable lives and should be killed for their own good to protect them from any future hardship they may suffer. PKC holds these views and practices as cruel, inhumane
and unacceptable. PKC believes the lives of feral
and stray cats have value. They deserve our compassion, care and protection
for their entire lives. PKC is their advocate, their “voice”.
We will strive to improve their lives and promote standards that are more reflective
of a caring and humane community. By caring for them we continue to fulfill our
mission and by joining us, you can help!
